An Unexpected Forever

TJ and Olivia’s story began in college during the spring of 2021. Though they attended two different schools — Auburn and Tuskegee — just fifteen minutes apart, their paths crossed in a way that felt quietly meaningful. What began as a simple introduction quickly turned into a conversation that neither of them wanted to end, a moment that would later feel like God gently aligning their lives.♡	After time apart, their paths crossed again when TJ invited Olivia to Memphis for an HBCU Classic. Surrounded by friends, laughter, and shared experiences, something deeper began to form. Though neither of them realized it at the time, God was patiently at work, allowing their connection to grow naturally and on His timing — even as they tried to define it as friendship.♡	On Friday, September 13th, at a place called DaVinci, everything shifted. In an unplanned and unexpected moment, they locked eyes, started dancing, and shared a kiss neither of them anticipated — yet both immediately understood.♡	The rest of the weekend unfolded with closeness and clarity. When everyone else left, Olivia stayed behind. Spending that Sunday together, they reflected on the weekend, on how they met, and on how unbelievable it felt to find something so real so unexpectedly.♡For TJ, loving Olivia brought a peace he had never experienced before — a peace he knew could only come from God. Even in crowded rooms, her presence felt grounding. He admired her unwavering positivity, her strength in the face of challenges, and her ability to move forward with grace. Her heart and resilience made it clear she was the woman God had placed in his life.♡	For Olivia, clarity also came that same Sunday in Memphis. Through honest conversation and quiet moments together, she felt seen, understood, and secure. TJ’s kindness, his attentiveness, and the way he consistently spoke life into her heart reflected God’s love to her — reassuring her that this was a partnership built on faith, trust, and intention.♡	Together, TJ and Olivia have built a relationship rooted in love, purpose, and partnership, guided by God’s grace. What they share is steady, joyful, and deeply intentional.♡	Now, as they step into forever, they do so with grateful hearts — trusting God’s plan, honoring His timing, and excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people they love most.

Free parking

Free parking is available at Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church, with a complimentary shuttle running to and from Mardi Gras Park beginning 30 minutes before the ceremony and continuing until 30 minutes after. — — — GPS: Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church, 500 Earle Street, Mobile, AL 36603

Additional Parking

Limited street parking and nearby public parking garages are available around Mardi Gras Park, including areas along Water Street, Royal Street, Church Street, St. Emanuel Street, and Government Street.

RECEPTION 

Ceremony to Reception Transportation

For guests attending both the ceremony and reception, a charter bus will be provided for transportation between Mobile and Fairhope (approximately 30 minutes). The bus will depart from Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church at 4:30 PM, with two return trips from the James P. Nix Center at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Venue parking

There are 75 complimentary parking spaces available at the reception venue for guests who prefer to drive directly to Fairhope. Spaces are first come, first served.

Overflow parking 

If additional parking is needed, guests may also park at Fairhope Elementary West. The school is approximately a 5-minute walk from the reception venue.
